(ADA) and Hindustan Aeronautics Limited (HAL) signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) for Limited Series Production of Indian LCA, which is the smallest, light weight, supersonic fighter aircraft. LCA had successfully completed Block I of Flight Test Phase and had met all the test parameters set for the flights. For achieving smooth transition from development to regular production and to curtail delays due to technology transfer during Productionisation Phase, Limited Series Production of
LCA is being undertaken concurrently with the Development Phase. During Limited Series Production Phase of LCA Programme, productionisation facilities will be established at HAL and limited number of aircraft will be manufactured by the Production Team with the support of Development Team |
